CROP REPORT - 28th August 2022

Crop Report

DONT FORGET, ORDER EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT!

I've been there and back and definitely know how far it is!! Flowered up some rockin' weddings with the lovely JacquiO Florals :) on my working holiday - and Yes it was a LOT of Gypsophila!

Crops have had a good drenching of rain - flash floods - diggers have been in the dykes and the fields are waterlogged .... from one extreme to another and it rained all day today too - forecast is for sunny days next week so we are expecting an abundance of product!!

Pink & White Snowberries are back online and Hypericum in all colours.

Brassica returns to the mix - use CVBN in the water to reduce the aroma :) They are green at the moment as colour becomes more intense after frost. I adore Autumn - the berries, the scent of hops and gourds will be here soon too.

Matricaria adds mini button-like texture to bouquets and sunflowers continue. The second flush of Eryngium Blue Lagoon is coming in and some country-style Astrantia

Growers choice Mixed boxes....there's a few crops starting and stopping as we are now into many new field crops - they are very weather dependant! This enables growers to pitch up with whatever looks good!
