CELEBRATE BRITISH GROWN Every Week is British Flowers Week at EVOLVE This week was the 'official' British flowers week and I spent it doing three British themed Floral workshops for a local company who was hosting supermarket buyers, everyone had a great time and we celebrated British grown with growers and oodles of flowers in a very hot marquee!  Its incredibly warm and growers are watching for the next downpour that is forecast to crop either before or after .... as always Mother Nature challenges us! PEONY PARADE !! Thunder, lightening and deluges of rain overnight with strong sun during the day and temperatures of 20c + Mother Nature does it every year and we are all working at pace chasing Sweet Williams and Peonies. Somehow it always settles down after the first earlies are off the fields and as everyone welcomes back the parade of peonies that are here for such a fleeting moment in time!  NEW: Scented Pinks - lots of lovely regal purples, pinks are coming  Cornflowers, field grown Delphinium white and blue.  BOOM the season has started! we will just get going and...
